2/4/2024 0 Comments Stonekeep maps sharga mines![]() ![]() Their lair is at the southern part of the Mines, where they are sleeping. George is a human head while Stump is monstrous (possibly Throgg). Aim for legs or head – they don’t have any protection there.George and Stump are the two heads of an Ettin who lives in the Sharga Mines 1st Level. It is good to have a lot of healing items, just in case. I recommend avoiding fights with 3 or more throgs. You’ll encounter throg warriors who wield swords and shields (physical ranged attacks do not work against them) and throg shamans who are able to cast runes like firebolt and flame. In my opinion, throgs are the most difficult foes – at that point of the game you don’t have many options to power up your party, and these Khull-Khuum worshipers are quite healthy and hit very hard. ![]() Occurrence: Entrance to the Temple, Temple of Throggi, Feeding grounds – level 1, Feeding grounds – level 2 They’re not really a threat to your party… You can stay still and wait until they finish themselves (shooting hurts them – bug?) or approach and dispose of them with weapons that deal crushing damage. Occurrence: Sharga mines – level 1, Entrance to the Temple, Feeding grounds – level 1, Feeding grounds – level 2Īs soon as you’ll walk to them, these plants will throw some kind of red seeds at you. One arrow is usually enough to silence them for good. It’s best to kill them with one but powerful ranged attack. The only purpose of these mushrooms is to alert other creatures standing nearby. Occurrence: Sharga mines – level 1, Sharga mines – level 2, Feeding grounds – level 1, Faerie Realm I recommend approaching them as quickly as possible and then dealing the killing blow (easier said than done, huh?). Fire hornets of the Fairy Realm are exception. If you don’t attack the scout flying under their nest, dozens of these creatures won’t bother you too. Occurrence: Sharga mines – level 1, Feeding grounds – level 2, Faerie Realm Watch out for them, ESPECIALLY for the young, little snakes… Their melee attacks are quick, highly poisonous and deadly. One of the tougher opponents considering available equipment to deal with them at this stage of the game. They are moving slowly, which makes ranged attacks very effective against them. Thankfully, slimes are afraid of fire, so oil bombs and firebolts work well. Also – fun fact – they can consume items lying on the ground (you can get them back after killing the beast). Secondly, they can merge together in order to gain more total hit points and power. Let’s start with a fact, that they’re immune to crushing damage, so put away all hammers. Occurrence: Ruins of Stonekeep – level 2, Sewers beneath Stonekeep, Sharga mines – level 2 If your blow is heavy enough, it can stun them for a split second. Dispose of them quickly and the precious medicaments will fall into your hands.Īim for the head. While fighting, you may see them throw skulls, rocks or even highly dangerous oil bombs! But that’s not all – if their hit points reach critical value, they will eat/drink some of healing items, which will help them last longer in fight. I strongly suggest dealing with them rather quickly, for they possess ability to use items they carry. In the beginning some of them won’t be tougher than an ant, but as the game progresses, you’ll find fighting them more and more challenging. Almost all greenskins you’ll encounter will ask for trouble – if that’s the case, give them what they want. The green shargas, in general, are their evil cousins (with few exceptions). The latter can be found only in their natural habitat, the Ice Caverns, and they’re pretty much peace-loving folks. There are two kinds of shargas: the green and the ice ones. Surely, the most common foe in whole game. Occurrence: Ruins of Stonekeep – level 1, Ruins of Stonekeep – level 2, Sewers beneath Stonekeep, Sharga mines – level 1, Sharga mines – level 2, Feeding grounds – level 1, Ice Caverns Aim for antennae and abdomen – those are the weak spots. They are a threat only at early stages of the game. But if that’s not the case, silence them for good. So if you’re not looking for trouble, just leave them be. Some of them (most often the small ones) walk the corridors and will attack only if provoked. Occurrence: Entrance to Stonekeep, Ruins of Stonekeep – level 1, Ruins of Stonekeep – level 2, Entrance to the Temple, Feeding Grounds – level 1ĭefinetly the weakest creatures in the game.
